Электролюминесцентный индикатор ИЭЛ-0-VI 101-178
IEL-0-VI Multi-segment Electroluminescent Display 101-178
Indicateur électroluminescent multi-segments
Elektrolumineszenz-Segmentanzeige
The segment pattern can generate nearly every Cyrillic and Roman character (except the letter T) using only eight segments.
Made only for military use in 80's Soviet era.
High brightness and durability.
This display is fundamentally different from VFDs in that it is not a vacuum tube, and does not have a hot cathode filament. Instead, an organic resin with a crystalline phosphor suspension is sandwiched between a conductive bottom layer and a tin oxide glass window to form a capacitor. When rapidly charged and discharged by a high voltage source, the phosphor emits light.
Excitation voltage:
• in constant power mode: 220 V
• in constant brightness mode: from 175 to 250 V (increases with service life)
Operating frequency range of excitation:
• in constant power mode: 400 Hz
• in constant brightness mode: 1200 Hz
Consumption current: 0.5 .. 3 mA
Ambient temperature range: -40 .. + 50 °C
