Very short persistence, purplish blue phosphor flying spot tube.
This tube was used for generating test patterns from slides for television service shops
in the B&K 1076 Television Analyst, which was a very popular test instrument from the monochrome era.
The B&K 1076’s were made in Chicago by B&K Instruments and were released around 1961.
Basically, it was a very early version of a test pattern generator.
This tube was also used in the B&K Dyna-Scan Model 1000.
