Heimann Optoelectronics was acquired by PerkinElmer Optoelectronics in 1992. Excelitas Technologies was formed in November, 2010 as a spin off from PerkinElmer.

This long high intensity flashlamp was mostly used in photocopiers. With the ratings given below, it would have life expectancy of 15 million flashes.
