Rogers Radio Tubes Ltd Type 8B REL R Klystron
Klystron reflex
Reflexklystron
Manufactured by Rogers for Canadian REL, the production arm of the Canadian Research Council during WWII.
The REL 8B was presumably derived from the NR89 “Sutton tube”, by adding a metal shield and a 4-pin base.
It was certainly used as local oscillator in the 1941 production of British GL-3 gun laying system and maybe also in the RX/C naval radar sets designed by REL.
