Zweikammer-Klystron
Early 2-cavity 3 GHz amplifier klystron manufactured by Sperry Gyroscope Company, one of the first
commercial amplifier klystrons produced.
Tuning is by cavity compression. It mounts in a bulky tuner that changes the gap distance on each
cavity by stretching them against the metal discs at top and bottom of the cavities. There are 2 coaxial connectors on
each resonator because that was the fashion at the time; it allows for other useful tricks like a coupling loop between
the resonators to run as an oscillator.
The 410R is a prototype of the 3K30.
