Triode JUNOT DétecteurIntroduced by Péricaud in 1923. 4 pin ceramic with nickel plated brass shell. As an attempt to avoid patent infringements on the triode valve, the plate consists of six nickel made discs with holes punched in the center and stacked one above other allowing the grid and filaments passing through the centers. Such arrangement improved the heat dissipation, as it behaves similar to a variable radiator. According to “Junot” triode sale advertisements, the disc shaped plate reduces also the parasitic capacity and thus, an advantage to improve the reception in short wave. The tube has two filaments; when the active filament was burned, an extra wire through the ceramic bottom of the base had to be wound around the filament pin to connect the second one.
