Vibrating membrane capacitor in evacuated envelope to be driven by a high-frequency (5.3 to 6.3 kHz) electric field.

Applications: D.C. to A.C. converter in electrometers, dosemeters, pH meters, and other equipments where a very high input resistance is of paramount importance.
