Intended for use in radar modulators.
The CV22 was used since 1941 in radar Type 291, to drive NT99 micropup triodes. Also used in 1942 in radar Type 271Q, to drive the CV56 magnetron. Two were used in 1941 in the GL3 S-band radar to generate a 40A/25kV 1µs pulse at 400pps to drive the CV120 magnetron.
