15E triodes were used as an oscillator in WWII ASB airborne radar equipment operating around 400 to 600 MHz. Under normal operating conditions with 7.5 kV to 10 kV at the anode, it can produce a 10 kW pulse; at 15 kV in laboratory conditions, a 15 kW pulse is possible.
