De Forest Type H Short Wave Transmitting Triode
Triode de puissance
Sendetriode
The de Forest Type H was advertised in January 1926. Marketed for amateurs, it was an unbased
tube with widely separated leads for use at frequencies as high as 300 MHz.
Like all the Forest transmitting tubes made up to this time, it was rated on input rather than
output. The maximum permissible input was 150 W. The filament took 2.35 A at 10 V. Maximum
permissible anode voltage was 3000 V, and maximum anode current was 50 mA.
