Triode ionization vacuum gauge - early 1950s.

This is a 35T triode that has been made into an ion gauge tube; it is used to measure gas pressure in a closed system and operates on somewhat of a reverse triode effect.

This is an undocumented tube made by Eimac so there is no type number on the tube itself. Only type indication is on the box where in very tiny lettering it says, "35T Ion Gauge".

This tube was made for the U.S. Navy, as is evident by the blue anchor symbol on the bulb.
