              UHF-Leistungstriode
Deutsche Wehrmachtsröhre • German Army tube • Tube de l'armée allemande.
GEMA (Gesellschaft für elektroakustische und mechanische Apparate mbH) was founded in 1934.
The TS6 was used in WWII for German radar (Seetakt and Freya); it was a specially rugged triode designed to withstand the vibrations aboard a warship firing heavy naval guns.
A pair of TS6 triodes in push-pull can deliver a maximum peak pulse power of 8 kW.
The heater is made of eight strands of bright thoriated tungsten wire.
Also known as „Käseglocke“ (“cheese cover”, « cloche à fromage »).
