“CDX” stands for Coolidge Dental X-Ray Unit.
This tube was introduced by GE in 1921. It was the first dental unit, with the tube, the transformer and the electrical circuit oil-immersed in a compact cllosed metal housing.

Rated 45 kV and 10 mA.
