              Flying-Spot-Scanner Bildröhre
			  Flying-spot scanning is the scanning of an object or photographic transparency,
              usually in a raster format, with a narrow beam of light and detecting either the reflected or transmitted
              light by photoelectric cells to convert the picture to an electrical signal capable of reproduction on a
              suitable display system. Flying-spot scanners were highly suitable for televising still photographic images
              and were often used for test patters and station identification slides. Later, Telecine made extensive use
              of flying-spot scanning for conversion of motion picture film to video or videotape.
