PHILIPS IRG 13235F/01 200-220V 300W Infrared Linear Reflector Heater Lamp
Lampe de chauffage infrarouge
Infrarot-Heizlampe
The filament is a coiled coil wound around a tube of quartz which supports it. The lamp must burn horizontally, otherwise the coils would quickly sag towards the lower end (which is unfortunately what happened to the lamp presented here).
Power is supplied from a stem at one end of the bulb, and one of the leadwires passes through the quartz tube and is connected to the other end.
The filament is mounted off-centre in a side-aluminised borosilicate glass tube.
These lamps did not had a commercial success. The 1955 catalogue mentions that they would be withdrawn and replaced by linear quartz infrared lamps.
Temperature: 1725 K.
