The DEFI children's film projector with a built-in translucent screen was designed for viewing filmstrips on 35mm film with a frame size of 18x24mm at home.

This lamp was also used in medical equipment (in particular ophthalmic), and for projection, sound reproducing, sound recording, copier and other film equipment.
