Radiovisor Parent Co., Ltd. was formed in 1928 and owned the rights in a selenium light bridge patented in 1927 and 1928. This cell was used in the first Baird television transmissions, and in the Light Actuated Switch, a system of street lamp control that permitted lamps to be automatically lighted at dusk and extinguished at dawn.
