Small 10-stage, ruggedized, head-on type tube with S-20 response which provides a usable spectral range from approximately 3000 to 7000 Angstroms.
Curved photocathode and internally potted dynode bleeder.
Current gain at -1500V anode potential is 4 x 10⁴, at -2000V it is 3.3 x 10⁵.
The tube has low distributed anode circuit capacity and small transit time fluctuations for 500 MHz response.
