Neutron Flux Detector (?)
				  Détecteur de flux neutronique (?)
                  Neutronenfluß-Detektor (?)
This device was found in a lot of stuff from a LANL (Los Alamos National Laboratory) surplus auction.
Its construction is very unusual. It has a window similar to the kind used on a scintillation crystal, inside it has a hollow cone of a dark material, and the outside is what appears to be a turned and milled aluminum heat sink.
Apparently, it is filled with xenon or krypton at a relatively high pressure, and the lining has a material (boron or boron carbide) that reacts with neutrons to make the gas inside glow.
