AMERICAN 12S8GT Triple Diode - High-Mu Triode

AMERICAN: manufactured by Feldstern & McCusker, sold by Radio Co., NY.

Designed as a balanced discriminator or detector in FM/AM receivers. Diode no.2 used for AM detection and diode unit No.1 and No.3 are used for FM detection.

It was used, among others, in Emerson model 602A (1949) and model 602C (1950).
