VARIAN X-Band Frequency Agile Magnetron SFD-367
Magnétron à agilité de fréquence
Frequenzagiles Magnetron
Frequency adjustable magnetrons, especially frequency agile magnetrons, can improve the anti-jamming ability of radar. The frequency-agile technique is based on changing the structure of resonator by tuning elements. The tuner is geared to a servo motor.
The SFD-367 is an Accutune Tunable/Dither Magnetron: Output RF frequency varies periodically with a constant excursion and constant rate. The center frequency may be slowly tuned by hand or by external servomotor drive to any point within the tunable band.
